Inside Sales Account Executive:
This position will focus on selling the Avaya portfolio of products and services, including but not limited to, voice and data products, maintenance contracts, managed services, etc.  The candidate must perform a variety of sales activities that lead to increased product penetration and revenue stream, including cold-calling, warm lead development and networking to develop a strong funnel. The candidate must provide excellent service and communications to our customers throughout all phases of the sale. Qualifications required
  • Minimum of three years experience selling voice and data products with proven sales performance.  Avaya product authorizations preferred.
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • The candidate must have a demonstrated a consistent track record of telecommunications sales success with the ability to penetrate and engage at the executive level. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Identifies, qualifies and facilitates sales of small and medium sized business telecommunications solutions and applications by demonstrating their impact & business value to prospective customer
  • The candidate must have a very strong understanding of and ability to articulate and present the consultative and professional services involved in the design, delivery and implementation of the Avaya/Avatel solution.
  • Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, creating customer relationships and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.
  • Develops sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment.
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers and meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas.
  • Maintain customer activity level and manage pipeline, including forecasting to meet quarterly financial targets.
  • Applies effective time management to prioritize activities related directly to selling and minimize non-productive sales activities.
  • Effectively document lead and customer conversations in the company’s CRM.
  • Prepare sales proposals, in conjunction with other company personnel, which meet the customer’s specific needs and offer a profit margin to the company.
  • Provide post-sale customer care and assist in responding to customer issues during the project installation.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude that has drive and motivation to sell aggressively.
